How to Get Lip Blush Clients as a Permanent Makeup Artist

To get lip blush clients, show healed lip photos taken in daylight, give lip blush its own page with a starting price and what's included, and list it as a service on your Google Business Profile. Then answer every lip blush lead fast, nights and weekends too, follow up when she goes quiet and remind her before her consult.

Start with the clients you already have

If you're known for brows, some of your easiest lip blush clients are already on your books. They trust your work, and some of them may not know you do lips.

Tell them. Mention it at brow appointments and touch-ups, put lip blush on your booking page and your price list, and keep a few healed lip photos on your phone to show when it comes up.

Give lip blush its own page and its own photos

Someone looking for lip blush wants to see lips. If your website, Instagram and Google profile are all brows, she may not realize you do lips at all.

Give lip blush its own page on your website, apart from brows, with what she needs to decide:

  • Healed lip photos, plus a few fresh ones so she knows what to expect on the day.
  • A starting price, and whether the touch-up is included.
  • How many sessions it usually takes, and what can change that, like darker lips or old lip work.
  • What healing looks like: the color starts bright, softens as it heals and evens out after the touch-up.
  • An easy way to reach you or book a consult.

Show healed lips, not only fresh ones

Fresh lip blush looks bright and a little swollen. Over the next few weeks it softens, and the healed color is what she'll live with. Healed photos answer her real question: what will my lips look like?

Take a healed photo at every touch-up, in daylight, from the same angle and distance as her before photo, with no gloss or liner and no filter. If you work on a range of lip tones, show that range, because she's looking for lips like hers. Get her written okay before you post.

On Instagram, give lip blush its own highlight, apart from brows, and say lip blush and your city in your captions.

Put a starting price on your lip blush page

Price comes up a lot. In the studios we work with, 44% of leads who texted asked about price or cost (7,716 leads across 36 studios, Jun 1 to Oct 20, 2026). A starting price on the page answers it before she has to ask, and you can go over her exact price at the consult.

Say what's included, too: whether the touch-up is, and what costs extra, like a second touch-up or correcting old lip work. If you offer a payment plan, put that on the page as well.

Make lip blush easy to find in local search

When someone near you searches for lip blush, your Google Business Profile can show up on Google Search and Maps. Add lip blush as a service, with a short description and your starting price, and add healed lip photos as you get them.

Ask every lip client for a review when she sees her healed result, usually at her touch-up, and text her the link to your Google review page that same day. Ask everyone, not only the clients you're sure loved it, and never trade a discount or a gift for a review. Google's rules don't allow either one.

On your website, make sure the lip blush page says lip blush and the city you work in, in plain words, so it's clear what you do and where.

Answer every lip blush lead fast

Leads don't wait for business hours. In the studios we work with, counting brow and lip leads together, 43% of lead form fills arrived between 8pm and 7am, and the busiest hour of the day was 9pm (14,067 leads across 36 studios, Jun 1 to Oct 20, 2026).

The first day matters most: 58% of people who booked a consult did it within 24 hours of filling out the form (1,148 people across 26 studios, form fills Jun 1 to Sep 20, 2026). If she hears back right away, she can ask her question and pick a time while she's still thinking about it.

And when she goes quiet, follow up more than once. In those same studios, more than a third of the people who booked went quiet for a day or more first, and most of them came back within a day of a text from the studio (412 of 1,148 people, form fills Jun 1 to Sep 20, 2026). Quiet isn't the same as no.

What helps you answer fast without living on your phone:

  • Turn on notifications for every place lip leads reach you: texts, calls, Instagram and Facebook messages, your website form and any ad forms.
  • Answer the question she asked, then offer a couple of consult times.
  • If you miss a call, text her back right away.
  • Put a link to book a lip blush consult on your Google profile, your website and your Instagram bio, so she can book at night without waiting for you.

Remind her before her consult

Send a reminder before every consult with the time, your address and where to park, and ask her to reply to confirm, so you know who's coming.

When you offer consult times, include some in the next few days, not only weeks out. We've seen that consults booked 5 or more days out were cancelled or moved more often than ones booked sooner, 61% against 46% (1,867 consults across 32 studios, appointments Jun 1 to Oct 13, 2026). That's a pattern, not proof that booking sooner prevents cancellations, so keep an eye on your own calendar too.

At the consult, show her healed lips like hers, walk her through healing and the touch-up, and ask whether she gets cold sores, since lip work can bring one on. Follow your training and your local rules on what she should do before her appointment.

Where Permanent Profits fits

You can do everything on this page yourself, and none of it needs an agency. The hard part is doing it every night and every weekend, while you're with clients all day.

If you'd rather hand off the ads and the texting, that's what we do, for lip blush as well as brows. We run your Facebook and Instagram ads, and our AI texting assistant texts your new leads as your studio, day or night. It answers her questions, follows up when she goes quiet, sends reminders and books consultations onto your own calendar. You can read every conversation and step in any time.

It's $0 to start. For your first 45 days of ads, our only fee is $50 per consultation that shows up. Your ad spend goes straight to Meta on your own card, with a $500 minimum across the 45 days, and we suggest about $30 a day. Texts and calls pass through at carrier cost. At day 45, you decide. If you keep going, there's a one-time activation fee based on your results, then a small monthly amount plus a small fee for each consult that shows.

Questions artists ask

How do I get more lip blush clients without paying for ads?

Tell your brow clients you do lips, post healed lip photos, give lip blush its own page with a starting price, add it to your Google Business Profile and ask every lip client for a review. Then answer everyone who reaches out fast, nights and weekends too, and follow up when she goes quiet.

How do I get lip blush clients if I mostly do brows?

Start with your brow clients. They already trust your work. Mention lips at their appointments and touch-ups, keep healed lip photos on your phone and put lip blush on your booking page and your price list.

Should lip blush have its own page on my website?

Yes. Someone looking for lip blush wants to see lips, a price and what healing looks like, not your brow work. A page of its own, with healed lip photos and a starting price, gives her one place to find all of it.

What photos should I post for lip blush?

Healed ones, mostly: in daylight, from the same angle as her before photo, with no gloss, liner or filter. Add a few fresh ones so she knows what to expect on the day, and get each client's written okay first.

Should I put my lip blush price on my website?

Yes, at least a starting price, and say whether the touch-up is included. Price comes up a lot: in the studios we work with, 44% of leads who texted asked about price or cost (7,716 leads across 36 studios, Jun 1 to Oct 20, 2026).
